WHAT IS PE FOAM EXPANSION JOINT FILLER

PE Foam Expansion Joint filler is a semi-rigid, U.V. resistant, high performance closed cell polyethylene foam joint filler in sheet form.

It is suitable for use as an expansion joint filler in concrete, brick, blockwork and isolation joints, where a readily compressible low load transfer joint filler is required.

PE Foam Expansion Joint filler is non-tainting and therefore suitable for use in potable water retaining and water excluding structures.

APPLICATIONS OF PE FOAM EXPANSION JOINT FILLER

PE Foam Expansion Joint filler is a compressible joint filler in sheet form, used to form and fill expansion joints.

In concrete

PE Foam Expansion Joint filler can be placed against formwork on the concreting side prior to placing the first section of concrete and is left in place on removal of the formwork. The subsequent pour is then cast directly against the PE Foam Expansion Joint filler. The board is then cut back later to form the sealing slot.

In blockwork and brick

PE Foam Expansion Joint filler should be installed, whilst laying brick or blockwork, in such a way that a sealing slot, of the required dimensions in formed.

4. Laser Vibrator - New type cutting machine, can cut the foam drawing without open molds

5. Die cutting - Open molds as per your design then at first, use die cutting machine to produce, it’s quicker than laser vibrator.

6. Compression Molding - Compression molding is a process we utilizes for the manufacturing of three-dimensional molded foam and foam composite parts. It is an ideal process for making parts that have intricate features, require very defined part geometry, have varying wall thicknesses or need to be held to critical dimensional tolerances.

7. Engraving machine - Usually to make tool box insert and packing insert as per client’s requests.

8. Silk-screen printing - Print logos and patterns on the surface of foam products

9. Adhesive backing - Gluing on the surface of the foam with liners. Usually produce foam tapes and other products need to stick on.
